• Speaking exclusively to Virginradio.co.uk, Amanda opened up about how she felt regarding Wilfred’s shocking betrayal.
• She said: “It hurt at the time, obviously, because we were so involved in the game, but it is a game at the end of the day.

I wouldn’t have done it to him and that’s why I deflected all the time when people mentioned his name.” Amanda continued: “I mean, that was his game plan, but I just want everybody to give him love as well because at the end of the day, we’ve made good TV.

If we hadn’t been ruthless as Traitors, would it have been good to watch? No. “I hope the nation does get behind him and his game plan. I still love him, we’re all still in touch.” For Amanda, her game plan was more about taking people under her wing and being a “mother figure” to other players, so they wouldn’t suspect her of being a Traitor.

However, she did admit it got quite difficult towards the end. When asked if it was fun being a Traitor, she said: “It was in the beginning, because you had the opportunity to murder people at night. And yeah, it was fun. It was like the villain in a pantomime, or something like that.

In tonight’s instalment, the group struggled to contain their suspicions about the 54-year-old estate agent and expressed their doubts around the roundtable. Four contestants voted to banish Amanda, including Hannah, Meryl, and Kieran, but the most brutal vote came from Wilf, who was the decider. Of course, this hasn’t been the first time Wilf has betrayed a fellow Traitor.

In previous episodes, the charity worker threw Alyssa Chan to the wolves at a roundtable. About – Amanda is the main antagonist of The Next Step. Amanda is the dance captain of Elite with Tess. She was always so cruel to The Next Step, but she ends up joining The Next Step Dance Studio In the episode Game On, Amanda auditioned for the female soloist, with Michelle leaving the studio, to ensure that nobody else would be rehearsing for it when she left.

Also, at the end of the episode, Kate asked Amanda to be the new dance captain after taking the position away from Emily. This means that Amanda now has dance captaincy and the female soloist for Nationals and a lot of control over the Next Step. In the episode Just Dance, Amanda is finally exposed and leaves The Next Step, going back to Elite and leaving them with only nine dancers and assured that they can’t go to Nationals now.

However Michelle comes back to the studio, they can therefore go to Nationals and face Elite. Amanda was known for being mean seeing how she was planning to kick out Emily on before going to Regionals when Emily was apart of Elite. She had also made fun of Emily multiple times because of Emily’s inability to learn dance moves so quickly.

2. She is now much more friendly and seems to be a better person and her future at The Next Step looks bright.

Episodes later, Amanda’s cover is blown by Riley and Chloe with a five-dollar bill that Margie drew on. She reveals that she is still at Elite, with her intentions on breaking the studio from the inside. During the Nationals, Amanda becomes infuriated when Lucien orders Tess to mess with Michelle during the female solo (which both Amanda and Michelle are apart).

• She wants to win fairly, and not by cheating.
• At that moment, Amanda sees the potential in Tess and Lucien, leaving her frustrated and livid, but Michelle gets there on time.
• They compete fairly, and Michelle wins.
• TNS moves on to finals and faces LOD, but with Emily’s injury they almost forfeit but then Amanda walks in and agrees to dance with them.

TNS wins and Amanda is now happy and says that The Next Step is her friends.

In order to have any kind of longevity you have to keep re-imagining yourself in this business and challenge yourself,” says VanCamp. As much as fans loved Revenge, the consensus has been that Season 1 was just perfect. Arguably, Revenge was playing around with the time-jump bookend plotting (starting with a dead body in the Hamptons at a wedding in the pilot, jumping back in the past for several episodes before bringing us back to the scene later on in the season) before Breaking Bad executed it in Season 5.

• Did we nail some things? Absolutely.
• Yes, Season 1 was superbly crafted and I loved Season 2 with the whole Initiative plot line, and there were stories I liked in seasons 3 and 4.
• I did question David Clarke (James Tupper) coming back over and over again and figuring out what that meant for the character.

But it was something new to play in Season 4 and we serviced the story.” And despite its roller coaster ride, what has kept fans coming back again to again has been Revenge ‘s 360-take on its characters. “Yes, we were allowed to live in a heightened reality.

Even though we had soap opera elements, Revenge had an emotional core,” she said. “It had a really strong beating heart. Not everything was totally insane. I always tried to find the reality in Emily/Amanda’s emotions and grounded it. Mike Kelley put together a group of actors that had the same desire to take this heightened reality and root it in reality.

Yeah, it was crazy, but we always hoped that people were connecting to the characters. It was a soap, but with a bit of depth.”

Back at the hotel, with all votes seemingly headed Keith’s way, Hannah dropped the bombshell that Traitors can fake murder themselves if they have a Shield, meaning Sam’s name was back on the table. In the Banishment Ceremony, Blake led the charge on Keith.

• This attack from his best friend turned Keith off Sam’s trail and onto Blake, but Blake managed to divert attention back to Liam.
• Hannah’s questioning fell flat, and with no real support for the Sam votes, Hannah, Sarah and Liam join the three Traitors to vote out Keith.
